The Chamber Project delivers impact through two flagship programs that bridge the gap in arts access across Wisconsin.
We send small, advanced chamber ensembles (trios, quartets) into Title I and underfunded schools that cannot afford private instrument teachers. Instead of just playing at the students, we play with them. Our musicians lead sectional rehearsals, demonstrate technique, and perform engaging repertoire that makes classical music accessible.
To inspire young students to pick up an instrument and to support overworked school music directors by providing free, specialized coaching.
We partner with local nursing homes and assisted living facilities to provide free chamber music concerts. We move beyond the "one-and-done" concert format. Our musicians engage with residents, explaining the history of the pieces and building relationships with the seniors through regular, recurring visits.
To combat isolation in elderly populations through the therapeutic power of live music.
